2. Introduction of new planning methods for staff at IIZ-DVV Headquarters and in the field (2003)

...... Staff qualification is extremely important for the sustainable introduction of new planning methods and for strengthening project activities. Besides intense training courses also tailor-made advisory services were needed for the core team whose members will strongly motivate all colleagues involved.

For this purpose I have developed a training method for 20 staff members working in Germany and in the field aiming at achieving different goals during the four-days training course:

familiarise the staff with the new planning methods and their advantages
create acceptance of the new methods through relating them with the old methods
develop competence and skills in the use of the new methods
dedicate time for questions, discussions and complaints
allow an outlook into the future: further need for training and advisory services, networks and horizontal assistance
